My creations are influenced by three major interests :
The technicity which is specific to our species.
How these help humanity to develop new capacities and to build the human-made world that surrounds us. The ways in which they shape our bodies and our minds, often without us realising this. Their impact on the evolution of our conscience, our freedom and our sense of responsibility.
Human cognition, and the body as the terrain in which this cognition is built and expressed.
The physical and mental processes that allow us to feel and to know. The interplay of movement, our senses, memory, imagery, language, reasoning, learning, intelligence, problem solving, decision making, perception and attention.
Our systems of reality, made up of truths, codes and values.
Their invisible and acquired nature, which makes us take them for granted. Their power to structure us, and their impact in our relationship to the world and to others. The actions with which we can interrogate them, and make them evolve. The strategies to cultivate critical-thinking minds which remain open to the unknown.
These topics also influence work-in-pubic : my explorations around performance, participation and collective experimentation, as research processes for creative production and shared thinking.
